The main cabin "at the mountain", that is, the ranch up on Pinion Mesa. I remember it well, and watching Jake's widow Aunt Phyllis cook on the woodstove. She rocked. Haven't been there since I was a little boy. You have to drive all the way to Grand Junction and through the National Monument to get there from the lower ranch by car.

Collin and I stayed there 3 times in the past 6 years with Mark Stafford- Ray went up there with us 4 years ago. Phyllis (who DOES rock)still stays there a lot, and they still have big family get-togethers with the whole clan up by the spring, 1/4 mile up the road. The cabin still looks about the same.
